Melanie Luther, M.S., CNS, CHN, CLC, is a Certified Nutrition Specialist, Certified Holistic Nutritionist, and Certified Life Coach with a Master of Science in Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine. She is passionate about using the functional medicine framework to address root causes of illness and empower patients to achieve lasting health, vitality, and longevity through foundational lifestyle and dietary strategies.

Melanie has clinical experience working with cardiac rehabilitation patients, helping them improve both subjective well-being and objective outcomes through nutrition and lifestyle interventions, including measurable improvements in blood markers. She has a particular focus on supporting individuals with cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes, blood sugar dysregulation, insulin resistance, and weight management; these criteria are the main culprits that shorten life span. She also loves working with women’s health, as well practicing extensively with guiding patients with complex gastrointestinal concerns such as IBS and IBD.

Her approach integrates evidence-based nutrition, functional medicine principles, and coaching strategies to help patients optimize diet, rest, exercise, stress management, and other key lifestyle factors that promote metabolic health and healthy aging. Melanie is deeply interested in the role of nutraceuticals, botanical medicine, and therapeutic diets in promoting longevity and resilient health.

Beyond clinical work, Melanie enjoys teaching and public speaking to help others better understand the connections between nutrition, lifestyle, and long-term vitality. In her free time, you can find Melanie skiing on Ajax, paragliding off Walsh’s, or riding her motorcycle in the summer.
